Me? I'm Andrew! An aging, graying, slow but getting a little faster of late, semi-injured at all times, runner.
I believe I'm pretty much a demonstration that if I can do this running lark, anyone can. I am a type 1 diabetic and an asthmatic. I don't think I run despite of these things, I believe my running helps me manage them. Also it shows... it can be done.

All the prefixes in that opening paragraph do not change that fact I am a runner, but let's not get our hopes up for a 4 minute mile, or a 5 one, or a 6 one. I can sometimes do a 7 one... sometimes.
This blog is going to be my personal place to moan, rant, show medals, be proud (myself and kiddies), share stories, share routes etc hopefully, if you can see what a 200lb (or so) veteran (technically VM35) guy can do, you may also wanna become that running guy (I got the heading in yay!)
I also have all my results etc for the year here.
A little on me, PB's are:
5k: 20:50 (Penallta parkrun 2018) *UPDATED*
10k: 44:15 (Swansea 2017)
8M: 57:00 (Lliswerry 2018) *UPDATED*HM: 1:39:59 (Cardiff 2017)

I live in sunny Merthyr Tydfil and am a member of Aberdare Valley AAC in South Wales, so expect most of my stuff to be based around the area. I do travel occasionally for races though!
If you want to get in touch, there are a few links down the right hand side, come say hi, what's the worst that can happen?
